It is with its unfailing commitment to the children of the region in vulnerable situations that the Children’s Foundation of Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CFVS) presented a cheque in the amount of $75,000 to the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges (MFVS) for its services in educational and social success as well as its overall mission. The MFVS is continuing its homework assistance program despite the pandemic, in person at the Maison de la Famille, with Zoom and in the schools. It also takes part and develops other activities to support more families and children during this period of pandemic.

“The CFVS is a proud partner of the Maison de la Famille de Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Together, we give access to resources that support educational and social success to vulnerable children in our region, in a stimulating and creative environment,” said Ms. Élaine Chagnon, president of the CFVS.

Mrs. Diane Lyonnais, president of the Board of Directors of the MFVS, underlined “The Maison de la famille feels extremely privileged to have this partnership with the CFVS. It is with great consideration that the MFVS salutes the highly significant gesture of the CFVS and is fully committed to this partnership.”

For France Pomminville, executive director of the MFVS: “The financial support of the CFVS translates into more direct services to children. From early childhood stimulation to homework help, the partnership allows us to increase the number of schools served, offer more workshops, and support more families in vulnerable situations. We are thrilled to be working with CFVS.”

Life goes on despite the pandemic and support for our children in vulnerable situations is maintained, adapted, and increased. CFVS is adapting and maintaining its commitment.
