PROMISE MADE, PROMISE KEPT!
Last year, Stéphanie Payant, manager of the 14-year-old girls’ tea – Ligue de Développement Provinciale (LDP), told us of their intention to raise funds for the Foundation.
The difficult conditions our society was experiencing were the basis for their commitment and the realization of an important value of their club: mutual aid. Having successfully raised $500, she said, “I’m making it my mission to repeat this fundraiser for the 2023 season, ALL TOGETHER, not just for soccer, but with our community.”
So the FU15 LDP – FC des 3 Lacs soccer team can proudly say: Promise made, promise kept. Stéphanie, the players and contributors were delighted to present a cheque for $500 to the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Children’s Foundation.
It’s with great gratitude that the FEVS receives this kind of testimonial from the region’s sports and social organizations. It’s thanks to acts like this that awareness of the needs of children in vulnerable situations is translated into concrete action to support them in their educational and social lives. Thank you for setting an example. Our children appreciate your actions.

Un vieil adage dit que ça prend un village pour élever un enfant. À la Fondation des enfants de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, nous croyons que le rassemblement de nos forces est une source importante de changements dans notre communauté. La FEVS soutient et appuie les efforts de prévention pour que tous les enfants de notre région aient droit à la chance de rêver, de réussir. Ne sous-estimons pas l’importance de donner. Ensemble, aidons les enfants à devenir.
